About Bazilio Design Institute
WHO WE ARE?
The Bazilio Design Institute (BDI) is an interior design school
that offers a sustainable and holistic approach to post
secondary education in the field of interior design,
hospitality and event management.
The aim is to enable job creation and income generation
for the students who pass through this facility.
BDI is be located in Kampala, Uganda, close to public
transportation to allow students easy access.
BDI will also offer Online Courses later this year
WHY BDI
The Bazilio Design Institute has been birthed out of a need that
reflects the opportunity to train and develop new designers in the
industry, provide income and change communities

To become affiliated with an international school and obtain access to an internationally accredited curriculum
To become a government approved vocational school & training center in interior design
To provide internship/ practicum opportunities to students through collaborative partnerships with members of
the design industry in Uganda as well as design study tours, locally and internationally
To teach sustainable design and raise awareness of the impact of green design
To establish a national interior design association in Uganda with the students being a core group of the pioneers
